We work selectively with early childhood educators who want thoughtful, relationship-centered support as they build, strengthen, or rethink their programs.
This work can include
Clarifying program philosophy and daily rhythms
Teacher support and classroom dynamics
Parent communication and culture
Handbook development
Creating or strengthening child-led, play-centered practices
One-time intensives or ongoing thought partnership
You don't need to already have a play-based program or know exactly how to create one. You may be reaching out because you know you want something different for the children and families in your program, but you're not quite sure how to get there.
We do ask that the educators we work with have some formal education or training in early childhood development and, most importantly, a genuine desire to keep learning.
We want this work to be accessible, and we also take it seriously. Our field matters. The work we do with young children matters. Our children and families deserve programs grounded in an understanding of development, relationships, and play.
Play is central to our work, particularly child-led, open-ended play, the messy, loud, complicated, beautiful kind that belongs to children.
We write more about play, and what we really mean when we call a program "play-based," on the Little by Little Substack.
