Dear Early Childhood Educator,

Maybe it’s just a dream. Maybe you have a vision but don’t know the next step. Maybe you’re already in it and feeling the weight. Or maybe you don’t even know what kind of support you need yet.

Leading a program is both beautiful and overwhelming. You want to create a space that honors childhood, supports families, and sustains itself. Still, there are so many moving parts: paperwork, licensing, staff, parents, daily rhythms, and the invisible work of holding it all together. Many of us step into this field because we are nurturers. We want to build something beautiful for children and families.

I’ve been there. For over ten years, I guided a community-built preschool. In the beginning, I knew I needed systems, so I slowly developed ones that worked for our program. Sometimes I leaned on the strength of the community and also learned the cost of doing it all without enough support.

Out of that experience, Little by Little was born. My work now is walking alongside new directors like you, helping you lay a foundation and create systems that feel clear, sustainable, and deeply rooted in your values.

​​Every program is unique, and my role is to help you see the big picture while also tending to the details that will keep you and your community steady.
